The trust will bring the whole community closer together though various social activates and networking events. These specially planed events can bring the recent graduates and employers together to improve the employment opportunities for recent graduates.
To distribute the workload and to overlook the activities, different management committees will be formed. The management committee will overlook the field of activities and can also assign members to different committees. Along with a management committee there will be a communication committee which will take care of internal and external affairs in terms of event planning and regular meetings. And lastly, there will be a financial committee that will bring in and manage required funds.
In order for this vision to become a reality, we required initial funding to set the entire operation in motion. With my father’s help we invited some of the well established and affluent people from Manvilas who could potentially be the trustees and support us financially. The first meeting of trustees gave us an opportunity to present all of our ideas. We received an overwhelming response. In the very first meeting we were able to raise Rs. 20, 00,000 (approximately US$ 32,000).
